Some Survey Fun

Engaging students

Sawstem has been actively engaging students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through a variety of innovative programs. From workshops and field trips to hands-on labs, Sawstem is dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Sawstem's STEM workshops provide students with hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to explore various STEM concepts. From creating homemade thermometers to learning about aviation science, these workshops are designed to spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of STEM subjects.

In addition to workshops, Sawstem organizes field trips to local facilities such as the Weather Centre and the airport. These field trips provide students with real-world exposure to STEM concepts and careers. During these trips, students have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the field and gain valuable insights into the practical applications of STEM.

Sawstem's hands-on labs allow students to apply what they have learned in workshops and field trips. Whether it's conducting experiments with homemade thermometers or building robots, these labs allow students to further explore and develop their STEM skills.

Improvements

After productive workshops, field trips, and labs, it's important to have outdoor fun activities with teachers and mentors. Sawstem organizes outdoor activities to provide students with a well-rounded STEM education experience. These activities not only reinforce STEM concepts but also encourage teamwork and collaboration.

During these outdoor activities, Sawstem conducts surveys to gather feedback from participants. Students are busy filling out questionnaires for thorough assessment, which will be analyzed in a separate article. This feedback is valuable for evaluating the effectiveness of Sawstem's programs and making improvements for future events.

Sawstem's integrated approach to STEM education, including workshops, field trips, hands-on labs, and outdoor activities, provides students with a comprehensive learning experience. By engaging students in a variety of educational activities, Sawstem is inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers and preparing them for future success in STEM fields.
